Ex-Intel GC Finds New Home At Apple

Law360, New York (September 15, 2009, 6:11 PM EDT) -- Intel Corp.'s long-serving general counsel Bruce Sewell has landed a job as Apple Inc's top in-house attorney, where his experience in antitrust investigations may prove useful.

Apple, which faces antitrust accusations from consumers and regulatory probes of its relationship with Google Inc., announced Sewell's appointment as general counsel and senior vice president on Tuesday.

The company said Sewell would replace Daniel Cooperman, who is retiring at the end of the month after serving two years in Apple's top legal post.
