Defendants Win Bid To Toss CSX Asbestos Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (September 16, 2009, 6:14 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed CSX Transportation Inc.'s asbestos fraud case accusing a Pennsylvania law firm and West Virginia radiologist of manufacturing a false asbestosis claim against the railroad network.

Judge Frederick P. Stamp Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia on Tuesday dismissed fraud and conspiracy claims against attorneys Robert Peirce Jr. and Louis A. Raimond and radiologist Dr. Ray Harron.
