DOC Won't Alter Dumping Margin For Chinese Tools

Law360, New York (September 17, 2009, 2:22 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has declined to alter the dumping margin on certain heavy forged hand tools made by two Chinese machinery companies that complained the rate was inaccurate, finding that information supplied by the companies is unreliable.

The Commerce Department lodged the results of its redetermination Wednesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, where the case brought by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Corp. and Shandong Huarong Machinery Co. has been pending since 2005.
