Citgo Awarded $5M In Contract Spat With Franchisee

Law360, New York (September 17, 2009, 3:42 PM EDT) -- Citgo Petroleum Corp. has trumped a gas station operator with stores in four states, winning a final judgment of nearly $5 million for breach of contract “debranding” claims over 39 retail locations.

Judge Barbara Crabb ordered Ranger Enterprises Inc. to pay Citgo more than $3 million from a July ruling, according to the final judgment she issued on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
