Lehman Wins $6.6M Payment For Metavante Deal

Law360, New York (September 18, 2009, 6:15 PM EDT) -- Lehman Brothers Special Financing Inc. has successfully locked down payments related to a prepetition swap agreement with Metavante Corp. that will net the bankrupt financier over $6.6 million.

Judge James M. Peck of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Thursday ordered Metavante to uphold its obligations under the deal while Lehman decides whether to assume the agreement.
