Judge OKs Energy Partners' Ch. 11 Plan, Again

Law360, New York (September 18, 2009, 6:08 PM EDT) -- The judge overseeing oil and gas producer Energy Partners Ltd.'s bankruptcy has signed off on a modified version of a second amended joint plan of reorganization after ruling that the company's recent tweaks to the plan were minor in nature and should not affect its earlier confirmation.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Jeff Bohm issued an order Sept. 17 approving the modified plan in light of the fact that it does not adversely change the treatment and the rights of the holders of any claim or equity interest...
