Commerce Agrees To Review French Ball Bearing Duty

Law360, New York (September 21, 2009, 7:05 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce is reviewing a 20-year-old anti-dumping duty order on ball bearings and parts thereof from France in light of a company shake-up that has led to a potential change in circumstances.

On Friday, the agency announced the review of a May 1989 anti-dumping duty order, undertaken by the Import Administration of the International Trade Administration at the request of SNR Roulements SA.

“We agree that the information submitted by SNR demonstrates changed circumstances sufficient to warrant a review,” the notice read....
