Judge OKs Most Of SEIU Claims Against Spinoff Union

Law360, New York (September 21, 2009, 8:01 PM EDT) -- A judge has allowed the Service Employees Union International to add defendants and claims to its lawsuit against former union members who formed a splinter union called National Union of Healthcare Workers.

In a ruling handed down Sept. 17 Judge William Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California allowed the SEIU to add five more current NUHW members to its suit.
