Axed Trader With Ponzi Ties Sues RBC For Sex Bias

Law360, New York (September 21, 2009, 5:20 PM EDT) -- A former trader from RBC Capital Markets Corp. who says she was terminated for dating accused hedge fund Ponzi schemer James Nicholson has sued RBC for sex discrimination and sexual harassment.

Toronto resident Lindy Boville, who worked at RBC's New York office from 2007 until earlier this year, filed the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, claiming her dismissal was discriminatory because none of her male colleagues who had business dealings with Nicholson were terminated.
