SFO Accused Of 'Volte-Face' In Trial Of Ex-Barclays Bankers

Counsel for Roger Jenkins, former head of Middle East investment business at Barclays, accused the SFO of a "volte-face" over claims an advisory agreement between Barclays and Qatar was irrelevant because the Gulf state had become a strategic investor in the bank during an emergency fundraising in 2008.
