Dewey, Orrick Merger To Boost Bankruptcy Practices

Law360 (October 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- If the merger between Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and Dewey Ballantine LLP is approved by both firms’ partnerships, the combined firm will boast a powerful bankruptcy and restructuring practice group.

Following the trend of law firm consolidation, the two firms disclosed on Wednesday that they were in talks to merge.
