Law360, New York (October 2, 2009, 2:54 PM EDT) -- China is by far the largest and most important U.S. trading partner to be designated a nonmarket economy by the U.S. Department of Commerce, but despite pleas from Chinese officials that the U.S. reconsider that designation, lawyers say China is likely to remain a nonmarket economy in American eyes for quite some time.
