China Intensifies Probe of US Poultry Dumping

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 4:57 PM EDT) -- Trade regulators in China are reportedly stepping up their investigation into claims the U.S. is dumping chicken imports in China and harming Chinese poultry producers.

The Ministry of Commerce announced Sunday that preliminary inspections had given way to a formal investigation of U.S. trade practices amid allegations that the U.S. chicken imports are priced unfairly low, according to news reports.
