Bong Maker Beats Accusation Of Litigation 'Business Model'

By Bill Donahue (March 4, 2020, 7:02 PM EST) -- A Florida federal judge is refusing to penalize a company that has filed hundreds of trademark lawsuits over its popular line of RooR cannabis bongs, rejecting the argument that the company has a "business model" of suing small retailers to win settlements.

The decision Tuesday went in favor of Sream Inc., which filed a whopping 217 infringement lawsuits during 2019 over the alleged sale of fake RooR bongs, more trademark cases than were filed by any brand owner over the same period.
