CompX Seeks To Drop Inequitable Conduct Claim

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 3:12 PM EDT) -- CompX International Inc. has asked to withdraw its allegation of inequitable conduct against Humanscale Corp. in a U.S. International Trade Commission investigation into Humanscale's complaint accusing CompX of importing and distributing keyboard support systems that infringe its patent.

CompX and its Canadian subsidiary CompX Waterloo submitted a motion Monday requesting an order from Administrative Law Judge Paul Luckern withdrawing their accusation that Humanscale claimed small entity status and paid small entity fees while employing more than 500 employees.
