Prosecutors Deny Hiding Evidence In Export Case

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 3:15 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors have denied allegations by a defense contractor acquitted in 2007 of export control violations that the government withheld evidence during his trial.

In court documents filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance maintains that contractor Alex Latifi has no basis for his accusations against the government.
