L-3 Communications Prices $1B Notes Offering

Law360, New York (September 30, 2009, 4:22 PM EDT) -- L-3 Communications Corp. has priced an offering of $1 billion in 5.20 percent senior notes due Oct. 15, 2019.

The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of L-3 Communications Holdings Inc., had announced an offering of $750 million Sept. 29, but it raised the principal amount later that day.

The notes are being issued in a private placement. Within the United States, only qualified institutional buyers will be eligible. Notes also will be available outside the United States to non-U.S. investors.
