Meridian Loses Bid To Overturn Judgment In SEC Spat

Law360, New York (September 30, 2009, 12:46 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to set aside a final judgment the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission won against Meridian Holdings Inc. and its CEO, in a case accusing the medical holding company of violating accounting rules by listing an allegedly uncollectable $30 million litigation award as an asset.
