SEC Readying To Charge Delphi Executives

Law360, New York (October 27, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wrapping up a nearly two-and-a-half year probe, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has reportedly moved to file civil fraud claims against a slew of former Delphi Corp. executives, including the former chief executive, in connection with alleged accounting fraud at the bankrupt auto supplier.

Inside sources revealed that former chairman and chief executive J.T. Battenberg III will be formally named in a civil complaint, Dow Jones reported on Friday.
