Commerce Department Revokes Argentine Wire Duty

Law360, New York (October 1, 2009, 3:27 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has revoked an anti-dumping duty order on imports of Argentine barbed wire and barbless fencing wire, originally instituted in 1985, following the department's third sunset review of the order.

Because the International Trade Administration did not receive notice from any interested domestic party of its intent to participate in the five-year review within the 30-day response period, the department issued a notice of the revocation of the order in Thursday's Federal Register.
