Antitrust Suit Asks Guitar Center To Face The Music

Law360, New York (October 1, 2009, 12:22 PM EDT) -- A guitar buyer has launched a putative class action alleging the instrument retailer Guitar Center Inc. and the trade group National Association of Music Merchants Inc. illegally conspired to fix minimum advertised prices for music gear, echoing a set of Federal Trade Commission allegations NAMM settled in March.
