Judge Tosses Ex-Motorola Attorney’s Suit

Law360, New York (October 2, 2009, 6:35 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out a suit by a fired Motorola Inc. commercial attorney who accused the telecommunications company of discriminating against her because she was black, older and had raised ethical concerns about how the company ran its business.

Judge Mary Murguia of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona on Wednesday granted Motorola’s bid for summary judgment and closed the case initiated by Doris H. Gray in March 2007.
