ITC To Review Wire Rod Duties For 2nd Time

Law360, New York (October 7, 2009, 1:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has decided to conduct a second full review of anti-dumping duties on stainless steel wire rods from Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain and Taiwan that have been in place since 1998.

In a unanimous commission vote announced by the ITC in a statement Tuesday, the ITC determined it would conduct full "sunset" reviews to determine whether revoking anti-dumping duties on the wire rods could lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the U.S. stainless steel wire rod industry.
