ITC To Fully Review Chinese, Thai, Malaysian Bags

Law360, New York (October 7, 2009, 3:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has voted unanimously to conduct a full review of anti-dumping duties levied on plastic bags imported from China, Malaysia and Thailand as part of its federally mandated sunset review process.

The commission was united in its findings on polyethylene retail carrier bags imported from Malaysia, deciding that responses from interested parties in both domestic and foreign markets were sufficient to warrant the full review, the ITC announced Tuesday.
