ITC To Review China Chemical Import Duties

Law360, New York (October 7, 2009, 4:03 PM EDT) -- In a unanimous vote, the U.S. International Trade Commission has opted to conduct a limited review of anti-dumping duties levied on Chinese imports of the chemical tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol to determine whether they should continue for an additional five years.

After reviewing submissions from domestic and foreign stakeholders, the six ITC commissioners concluded that the response from U.S. groups was adequate, while the submissions from respondents were “inadequate,” the ITC announced Tuesday.
