6th Circ. Mostly Nixes Amway Win In Insurance Spat

Law360, New York (October 7, 2009, 3:05 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has vacated and remanded most of a ruling from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan that had favored Amway's parent company, Alticor Inc., against National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh in a breach of settlement spat over the insurer's duty to defend.
