Iomed Vindicated By Dallas Jury

Law360, New York (October 31, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal jury has cleared Iomed Inc. of all charges in a lawsuit that accused its single-use iontophoresis treatment of infringing rival EEMSO Inc.’s patent.

After a two-week trial, a seven-person jury in the U.S. District Court in Dallas ruled Friday that Iomed’s Companion80 product – a disposable iontophoresis system with an internal battery that is used to treat inflammation – did not incorporate features of EEMSO’s own integrated electrode device.
