Judge Grants Solutia More Time To Remove Civil Suits

Law360, New York (October 31, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The federal court overseeing Solutia Inc.’s Chapter 11 proceedings has granted the bankrupt chemical products maker’s request to push back the deadline back three months for the debtors to remove civil actions.

In an order signed on Monday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Prudence Carter Beatty ruled that granting the proposed extension was in the best interests of the debtors, as well as their estates and creditors.
