Petroleum Reserve Security Co. Settles Contract Spat

Law360, New York (October 9, 2009, 6:12 PM EDT) -- Pinkerton Government Services Inc. and DynMcDermott Petroleum Operations Co. have reached an agreement to resolve a suit accusing DM of breaching its subcontract with PGS by refusing to pay the company more than $3.9 million for its security services at the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Judge Mary Ann Vial Lemmon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana dismissed the action with prejudice on Thursday after being informed in a Sept. 25 stipulation of dismissal that the parties had “agreed upon a compromise.”...
