Ex-Managing Director At Merriman Curhan Gets 5 Years

Law360, New York (October 9, 2009, 6:09 PM EDT) -- A former managing director at investment brokerage firm Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. was sentenced to 60 months in prison and ordered to pay $47.5 million in restitution for helping venture capitalist William Del Biaggio III fraudulently secure more than $100 million in loans in 2007 and 2008.
