US Shrimpers Challenge Chinese Import Duties

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 2:20 PM EDT) -- A group of domestic shrimp producers is taking the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration to court over a final ruling that set anti-dumping duties on frozen warmwater shrimp imported from China, following a similar suit over Indian imports.

The Ad Hoc Shrimp Trade Action Committee filed a complaint Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, claiming that the ITA used flawed methodology to determine the final results of its investigation into the alleged dumping.
