Adviser Fights $6M Order In Universal Express Case

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 5:16 PM EDT) -- An investment adviser implicated in an illegal stock scheme involving former race car driver Mark Neuhaus and luggage delivery company Universal Express Inc. is contesting a court's $6 million judgment against him.

New York-based moneyman George Sandhu, who was hit with the judgment on Aug. 14 after agreeing to settle the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's allegations against him, filed a notice of appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Friday.
