Increased Dumping Rate Leads Furniture Co. To Sue US

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 7:09 PM EDT) -- An American furniture importer has sued the U.S. Department of Commerce, alleging that it illegally jacked up the company's anti-dumping rate for wooden bedroom furniture from China months after an administrative review was completed.

Najarian Furniture Co. Inc. filed the suit Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, claiming that Commerce issued liquidation instructions for its entries in September that included a substantial increase from the rate the department set in July after a second administrative review.
