Ex-Prudential Broker Tries To Dodge SEC Action

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 5:34 PM EDT) -- Though many of his colleagues have settled, a former stockbroker at Prudential Securities Inc. has continued fighting a lawsuit that accuses him of deceptive practices with respect to market timing trades in mutual funds.

Frederick J. O'Meally filed a motion for summary judgment on Friday, saying there was nothing deceptive about his conduct, and that he did not understand his business practices to be wrong.
