Time-Share Sales Reps Seek Class Cert. In OT Suits

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 1:25 PM EDT) -- The lead plaintiffs in a pair of putative collective actions accusing time-share manager Westgate Resorts Inc. and two affiliates of failing to pay employees overtime wages have asked a federal judge to grant their requests for conditional certification.

The motions, filed Friday in the U.S. Court for the Middle District of Florida, where both cases have been pending since February, asked the court to certify classes of day-line sales representatives and in-house representatives.
