Banco Popular Loses Round In Music Copyright Case

Law360, New York (October 13, 2009, 5:52 PM EDT) -- Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, facing copyright infringement counterclaims from two of the music licensing groups it sued for declaratory judgment over ownership of songs used in the bank's TV specials, has lost its bid to dismiss the counterclaims.
