Eli Lilly Reaches $13M Zyprexa Settlement With Idaho

Law360, New York (October 13, 2009, 6:22 PM EDT) -- Eli Lilly & Co. has agreed to pay $13 million to settle a lawsuit brought by the state of Idaho over the drugmaker's promotion and marketing of the antipsychotic Zyprexa.

The settlement, just one of many involving Zyprexa, was announced Tuesday by Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden. It must now be approved by Judge Jack B. Weinstein of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, who is overseeing multidistrict litigation on the matter.
