Samsung Agrees To TRO In Software Copyright Row

Law360, New York (October 13, 2009, 7:26 PM EDT) -- Samsung Electronics Corp. Ltd. has agreed to a temporary restraining order in a lawsuit filed by CCP Systems AG alleging Samsung improperly distributed CCP software online for free.

Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey signed off Thursday on a jointly stipulated preliminary injunction barring South Korea-based Samsung from displaying or distributing CCP’s JScribe core software.
