Feds Try To Quash Subpoena In Lumber Import Spat

Law360, New York (October 14, 2009, 4:43 PM EDT) -- The U.S. has asked an international trade judge to quash a subpoena that an American softwood lumber company tried to serve to the person most knowledgeable about the Softwood Lumber Agreement of 2006 between the U.S. and Canada, in an ongoing dispute between lumber companies and the U.S. over the distribution of a lumber duties settlement.
