US Shrimpers Challenge Vietnam, Ecuador Duty Rates

Law360, New York (October 16, 2009, 2:26 PM EDT) -- Having already sued the U.S. Department of Commerce over lowered anti-dumping duties on frozen warmwater shrimp imported from China and India, a group of U.S. producers has launched two suits disputing the calculation of duties on shrimp from Vietnam and Ecuador.

The Ad Hoc Shrimp Trade Action Committee filed complaints Thursday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, claiming that the International Trade Administration used inaccurate data to calculate the results of its third reviews of the shrimp duties.
