Cuomo Hits Construction Cos. With $4M Race Bias Suit

Law360, New York (October 16, 2009, 3:22 PM EDT) -- New York Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo has accused six construction companies and the man who allegedly controls them of paying white employees more than their nonwhite co-workers, shortchanging employees to the tune of $4 million in wages and overtime pay.

Cuomo filed the complaint in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday, naming Michael Mahoney, EMC of New York Inc, FSC Construction LLC, FSC General Construction LLC, BMC Construction Contractors Corp., Eastlake Industries Inc. and Rigid Concrete Construction as defendants.
