French Atomic Agency Expands LCD Suits

Law360 (April 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The French Atomic Agency has expanded its onslaught against the world’s leading manufacturers of liquid crystal displays (LCDs), filing patent infringement lawsuits against additional electronics companies such as Sharp, Hitachi and Gateway.

In addition to those three companies, the suit targets AU Optronics, Acer, Benq, NEC-Mitsubishi, Ilyama, Eizo and Westinghouse, according to Song Jung, the chair of the Intellectual Property and Technology practice at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, which represents CEA in the U.S.
