Union Calls Foul Against Taxicab Companies

Law360 (November 3, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- San Francisco taxicab drivers have slapped a slew of cab companies with a class action lawsuit, contending that the owners owe them millions of dollars in overcharged gate fees.

On Thursday, the United Taxicab Workers, along with four taxicab drivers, filed suit in San Francisco Superior Court, accusing Yellow Cab, Luxor Cab, Speck Cab Co. and American Cab of ripping off the Bay Area cabbies.
