Colo. Pulls Plug On Chemical Weapons Cleanup Case

Law360, New York (October 21, 2009, 3:10 PM EDT) -- Having lost a bid for summary judgment, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has given up on trying to speed the federal government's cleanup of leaking chemical weapons stockpiled in Pueblo, Colo.

Judge Richard Matsch of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado ordered a judgment in the federal government's favor Tuesday, at Colorado's request.
