DOC Begins Probe Of Copper Tube Imports

Law360, New York (October 22, 2009, 2:06 PM EDT) -- In response to a petition from a group of copper pipe manufacturers, the U.S. Department of Commerce has decided to initiate anti-dumping investigations of seamless refined copper pipe and tube from China and Mexico.

The investigations, announced Wednesday, will look at all seamless circular refined copper pipes and tubes, including redraw hollows, greater than or equal to 6 inches in length and measuring less than 12.130 inches in outside diameter.
