Fed. Circ. Affirms $16M Manufacturing Patent Award

Law360, New York (October 23, 2009, 6:38 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a district court's $16 million award to Joyal Products Inc. over claims that Johnson Electric North America Inc. infringed Joyal's patent for a thermomechanical process used to manufacture connections in motors.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed the lower court's decision in Joyal's favor in a per curiam order entered Thursday.
