Class Cert. Sought In Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash Suit

Law360, New York (October 26, 2009, 2:49 PM EDT) -- Plaintiffs who claim Procter & Gamble Manufacturing Co.'s Crest Pro-Health mouthwash stained their teeth have asked a federal judge to certify a nationwide class of thousands of consumers.

The plaintiffs filed their request Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, arguing that P&G and fellow defendant Procter & Gamble Distributing LLC knew the mouthwash stained some user's teeth but failed to disclose that side effect.
