Insurers Hit Over Denying Cancer Patients Coverage

Law360, New York (October 26, 2009, 5:50 PM EDT) -- Despite several district court rulings that have found the practices illegal, insurance companies continue to rip off cancer patients by underfunding supplemental payback benefits plans and narrowly construing the policies in efforts to deny coverage, according to two putative class actions.
