Ga. County Amends Appeal In Water Rights MDL

Law360, New York (October 26, 2009, 3:03 PM EDT) -- A Georgia county has become the latest party in a long-running multidistrict litigation to file an amended notice of appeal of a district court's ruling that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which operates Lake Lanier, had no authority to use the lake to supply state residents with drinking water.
