Apotex' Antitrust Claims In Patent Case Approved

Law360 (November 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge overseeing the patent battle over the market for the blockbuster drug Plavix has allowed Apotex Inc. to assert antitrust counterclaims against the plaintiffs, but ruled those issues will be kept separate from the rest of the patent trial.

U.S. District Judge Sidney H. Stein granted in part and denied in part a motion by Apotex which sought to amend and supplement the defendant’s Third Amended Answer.
